Immediately before Ero, ArcelorMittal's Chief Operating Officer, Mining and Executive Director for the company's integrated mining and steel operations in Central Asia; before that, ArcelorMittal's Mining Chief Technology Officer in London (technical services, global exploration and innovation). Earlier career at Rio Tinto and with engineering/technology companies in Canada and South America. Degree in Mining Engineering, Federal University of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
