Director of Lightning Resource Corp. Founder of B2Gold Corp. (2007, with other former Bema Gold executives after Bema's acquisition by Kinross). Served as President and CEO from 2007 until his retirement effective 4 Jun 2026, becoming Chair Emeritus. Founder also of Bema Gold and of BeMetals, to which he was previously a technical/strategic advisor; has collectively raised over US$2 billion in equity and debt financing for mining operations. Joined the board of Lightning Resource Corp. (TSXV: LTNG) in Q3 2026; B2Gold holds about 28.4% of Lightning.
