Simon Lawson

Career spans Jubilee Mines, Silver Lake Resources, and Northern Star Resources as a founding member, before leading Spartan Resources. As Managing Director and later Executive Chair of Spartan, he led its transformation from a struggling open-cut operation into the high-grade Never Never/Pepper underground discovery story, culminating in Spartan's ~$2.5 billion merger with Ramelius Resources in July 2025, after which he became Deputy Chair of Ramelius. Also a non-executive director of Gorilla Gold Mines and Mammoth Minerals.
