Copperalso:ICE Copper-Gold Project (Yukon Territory, Canada) Map

Vita Resources NL (ASX: VTA) is an ASX-listed early-stage explorer holding six projects across four jurisdictions. It was named Bastion Minerals Limited (ASX: BMO) until a corporate name change announced 29 January 2026 and effective 3 February 2026 -- the same legal entity throughout (ABN 19 147 948 883), not an acquisition. Its most advanced asset is the ICE Copper-Gold Project in Yukon Territory, Canada, the only project in the portfolio carrying a mineral resource of any kind: a JORC Code (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate of 6.43 Mt @ 1.07% Cu (68.6 kt contained copper) at a 0.3% Cu cut-off, comprising Indicated 5.76 Mt @ 1.09% Cu and Inferred 0.67 Mt @ 0.83% Cu, announced 11 June 2025 with Competent Person Arnold van der Heyden of H & S Consultants Pty Ltd. The estimate also carries 0.09 g/t Au, 2.9 ppm Ag, 0.11% Zn and 0.018% Co, and the company repositioned ICE as polymetallic in February 2026 with the copper figures unchanged. This is a JORC estimate, not an NI 43-101 one -- Vita is not a Canadian reporting issuer -- and it superseded a 1998 foreign historical estimate of 4.56 Mt @ 1.48% Cu. ICE was acquired via the share acquisition of Arcus Resources, completed 18 November 2024. No economic study (scoping, PEA, PFS or feasibility) has been completed on ICE and there is no Ore Reserve; a YESAB approval recommendation in March 2026 covers a further five years of exploration only. The remaining projects are earlier or inactive: Ninnis Gold (WA) is early-stage with anomalous auger geochemistry only, Gyttorp REE-copper (Sweden) and Harley and Mariner (NWT, Canada) are under re-evaluation, Cometa Copper (Chile) is under strategic review, and Morrisey Lithium (WA) was surrendered.

Open pit (contemplated only) -- no active mine. The 2025 JORC MRE is reported at a single 0.3% Cu cut-off with no pit constraint, and no economic study exists to fix a mining method; open pit potential is company-stated intent carried over from a 1998 historical open-pit concept, not study-backed.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Technical Report Takeaways

ICE Copper-Gold Project, Yukon Territory, Canada -- JORC Code (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate announced 11 June 2025 (ASX announcement '6.43 Mt @ 1.07% Cu JORC MINERAL RESOURCE ESTIMATE FOR ICE COPPER-GOLD PROJECT'). Indicated 5.76 Mt @ 1.09% Cu (62.8 kt Cu) + Inferred 0.67 Mt @ 0.83% Cu (5.81 kt Cu) = 6.43 Mt @ 1.07% Cu (68.6 kt Cu) at a 0.3% Cu cut-off; also 0.09 g/t Au, 2.9 ppm Ag, 0.11% Zn, 0.018% Co. Competent Person for Mineral Resources: Arnold van der Heyden, Director of H & S Consultants Pty Ltd, MAusIMM CP(Geology); exploration results: Murray Brooker (AIG #3503, RPGeo #10,086) of Hydrominex Geoscience Pty Ltd. Based on 115 drill holes, almost all <200 m deep, with only ~1% of the 56 km2 project drilled. THIS IS A JORC ESTIMATE, NOT NI 43-101 -- Vita is ASX-only listed and is not a Canadian reporting issuer; in the 62-page announcement 'Qualified Person' appears 0 times and 'Competent Person' 11 times, and the only two '43-101' matches are bibliography references to other companies' Yukon projects. No effective date is stated anywhere in the announcement; 11 June 2025 is the announcement date and the only real date available. It is CURRENT, not historical: the company re-affirmed it under ASX Listing Rule 5.23.2 in its 30 January 2026 quarterly ('...all material assumptions and technical parameters underpinning the estimates in the relevant market announcements continue to apply and have not materially changed') and restated it in February 2026 when repositioning ICE as polymetallic. The 'historical'/'foreign' framing in the record attaches only to the superseded 1998 estimate of 4.56 Mt @ 1.48% Cu. No scoping study, PEA, PFS or feasibility study exists and there is no Ore Reserve ('scoping', 'PEA', 'NPV', 'IRR' all return zero hits in the announcement). (Task #120: the prior STAGE FLAG on this field is resolved -- stage corrected GRASSROOTS -> RESOURCE_DEFINITION. The batch 6 cut-off asOfDate of 2024-07-30 was the ACQUISITION announcement date, not the MRE date, and has been corrected to 2025-06-11.)
