Combined resource
No project has a disclosed resource figure yet
IRR
Not combined
IRR is not additive across independent projects -- see each project's own tab for its figure
Excluded from the totals above: Frotet (Kenorland holds only a 4% NSR royalty at Frotet, NOT an equity/resource-attributable interest -- the project is 100% owned and operated by Sumitomo Metal Mining following the Newmont/Sumitomo consolidation. The 2.55 Moz resource below belongs to Sumitomo, not to Kenorland; it must never be added to Kenorland's own attributable ounces.)

Acquisition Susceptibility
4.6/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Smart money
5/10

Two producers hold cash-bought stakes in Kenorland and both keep topping them up. Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada subscribed C$5,211,945 for 5,211,945 shares at C$1.00 in November 2021 for 10.1% plus the right to nominate a director, and Centerra Gold took 9.9% through a C$9.86M financing in May 2024. Both exercised anti-dilution top-up rights again, completing on 19 June 2026 (trigger notice received 8 May 2026), holding their 10.1% and 9.9% precisely. Sumitomo separately picked up a further 105,572 shares at C$1.533 in a private transaction in May 2025, and Centerra can earn up to 70% of individual projects under option. No resource-specialist fund appears on the register at any meaningful size.

Technical Report Takeaways

Frotet Project, Quebec: maiden Inferred Resource announced 16 Dec 2025 (Regnault deposit, 14.5 Mt @ 5.47 g/t Au = 2.55 Moz Au, Inferred only, no M&I category) -- but Frotet is 100%-owned and operated by Sumitomo Metal Mining following the Newmont/Sumitomo consolidation; Kenorland holds only a 4% NSR royalty there, not equity. This resource is NOT attributed to Kenorland's own ouncesFound for that reason. Chebistuan Project, Quebec: Newmont withdrew from its earn-in effective 31 Jan 2026, transferring its interest back to Kenorland (now 100% Kenorland-owned) -- remains genuinely grassroots with only modest 2025 drilling (2,449 m, best hole 5.10 m @ 1.19 g/t) and no resource estimate.
