Auranova Resources Inc.
Auranova Resources Inc. (TSXV: AURA) is a Vancouver-based grassroots gold explorer, incorporated in 2021, focused on the Red Lake district of northwestern Ontario. Its sole project is South Uchi, in the Birch-Uchi greenstone belt about 45 kilometres along trend from Kinross Gold's Great Bear deposit and sharing its structural setting of east-west striking deformation zones cutting Confederation Assemblage volcanic rocks. Auranova optioned the project from Kenorland Minerals Ltd. in November 2024 with the right to earn up to 70%, and had earned a 51% interest as of June 2025. Three drill programmes have followed: Phase 1 in May 2025 at the Papaonga target, which had returned pristine gold grains in till and multiple bedrock samples above 1 g/t Au; Phase 2 in November 2025; and a Phase 3 spring 2026 programme of six holes totalling 3,187 metres that extended Papaonga eastward and made the company's most significant discovery to date -- North Papa, a large intrusion-related gold system of gold-mineralised quartz-feldspar porphyry with intense silica-sericite-albite flooding and up to 15% accessory sulphides, hosted in a regional east-west shear zone. The discovery hole returned more than 122.80 metres grading above 0.28 g/t gold within 220.15 metres of core. No mineral resource estimate has been published.
