Besra Gold Inc.
Besra Gold Inc. is a gold explorer/developer incorporated federally in Canada under the CBCA (Canada Business Corporations Act), with a secondary ASX listing (also OTC: BESAF in the US) -- a non-standard corporate structure worth flagging distinctly from a typical Australian-incorporated ASX Ltd. Its single project is the Bau Goldfield (Bau Gold Project), Sarawak, East Malaysia (multiple deposits including Jugan and Bekajang), held via its 98.5%-owned Malaysian subsidiary North Borneo Gold Sdn Bhd. A 'Stage 1 Feasibility Study' has been released covering part of the project, though the company's own description remains 'exploration and development' overall -- feasibility-stage on a portion, pre-development overall. An updated JORC MRE (21 Oct 2025, prepared by independent consultant Widenbar and Associates Pty Ltd) reports 53.0Mt @ 1.3 g/t Au for 2.28 million oz -- superseding an older 2021-vintage estimate (~2.98Moz total plus a 4.89-9.27Moz Exploration Target) that still circulates in some sources and is deliberately NOT used here. Governance instability flagged: at least two Company Secretary changes and a CEO change within ~15 months (2023-2026) -- current CEO Dr. Raymond Shaw appointed May 2026, Company Secretary Daniel Coletta (Mirador Corporate) appointed 4 Aug 2026, days before this research pass. GAP (recorded, not guessed): no confirmed cash position located (Mar/Jun 2026 Appendix 5B reports exist but figures not extracted this pass); no CFO identified as a distinct named role (finance/company-secretarial functions appear handled through Mirador Corporate); no NPV/mine-life/cutoff-grade found for the Stage 1 Feasibility Study.
Notable vs. Peers

Lifecycle Milestones
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money
Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.
EuroPac Gold Fund, a real specialist precious-metals fund, holds a small and stale (2024) stake. A substantial holder notice was filed in April 2026, but the identity could not be confirmed within this pass. The most recent director's-interest notice on file reads as a departure, not a purchase.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
Task #317 (Aug 2026): checked, genuinely too stale to write as a current headline figure. The only economic study located for Bau is a 'Stage 1 Feasibility Study' (Jugan Hill open pit only), released Jan 2014 and CORRECTED in Mar 2014 after a calculation error was found in the original NPV/IRR (corrected figures: NPV8% = US$91.4M, up from a mistaken US$48.3M; IRR = 38%, up from a mistaken 25.4%; initial Stage 1 mine life = 4 years, extending to 12 years / >1Moz total production under a still-unstudied Stage II). This is now 12 years old, covers only a partial 'Stage 1' scope of the current 2.28 Moz resource (Oct 2025 JORC MRE), was disclosed at a gold price far below the current environment, and was already flagged as a real gap ('no NPV/mine-life/cutoff-grade found for the Stage 1 Feasibility Study') by the researcher who wrote this miner's own description. Per this database's ORV/Orvana stale-study convention (docs/GOLD-DATA-OPERATIONS-PLAYBOOK.md sec. 6.1), a once-miscalculated, 12-year-old, partial-scope study is not written to the live dcfNpvUsd/irrPct/mineLifeYears fields. No newer economic study was located despite a real search pass (only the Oct 2025 resource update, which has no accompanying NPV/IRR/mine-life work).
