CopperChapada Copper-Gold Mine, Goias, Brazil (Lundin Mining-operated) -- Altius's 3.7% copper stream, the portfolio's largest single current base-metals revenue contributor Map

Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS; OTCQX: ATUSF) is a St. John's, Newfoundland-headquartered royalty company that does not operate any mines itself -- it generates revenue entirely from royalty, stream and equity interests in assets operated by other companies, spanning base metals, potash, iron ore, lithium and renewable energy. Its base-metals segment (Q2 2026 revenue of C$9.4 million, the largest single disclosed segment that quarter) blends a 3.7% copper stream on Lundin Mining's Chapada copper-gold mine (Goias, Brazil) with a 3% net value return royalty on the Voisey's Bay nickel-copper-cobalt mine (Labrador, Canada; Vale Base Metals-operated), held via a 10% joint-venture interest in the Labrador Nickel Royalty Limited Partnership. Altius also holds legacy potash-royalty interests across Saskatchewan (via its 2018-2020 Liberty Metals & Mining Holdings, Prairie Royalties and CDP acquisitions; Q2 2026 potash revenue of C$5.0 million), an 8.05% equity stake in the separately-TSX-listed Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corporation (LIORC, itself a pass-through vehicle holding a 7% gross overriding royalty plus an equity stake in the Iron Ore Company of Canada; Q2 2026 dividend income of C$1.6 million, muted while IOC invests in operational improvements), and a 57%-owned renewable-energy royalty subsidiary, Altius Renewable Royalties Corp (wind/solar interests; 43% owned by Northampton Capital Partners since a Dec 2024 privatization transaction). Altius materially expanded its lithium exposure by completing the acquisition of Lithium Royalty Corp in Q1 2026 (Q2 2026 lithium revenue of C$6.4 million). Q2 2026 attributable royalty revenue of C$30.0 million was a company record (versus C$12.7 million in Q2 2025), and Altius raised C$182 million (US$130 million) via a bought-deal share offering during the year to fund further royalty acquisitions following this growth; the company's common shares were added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index effective 22 Jun 2026.
