Entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in the minerals and securities industries. Founded Energy Metals Corp. as its co-founder and Chairman, compiling the largest domestic uranium resource base in U.S. history before it was sold for $1.8 billion in 2007. Founder of enCore Energy Corp. and its Executive Chair until his retirement in March 2026, when he became Chairman Emeritus and a Senior Advisor on enCore's Technical Advisory Committee; enCore is Verdera's largest shareholder. Appointed Executive Chair of Verdera Energy Corp. effective 2 March 2026. Also Chairman of the board of Manhattan Uranium Discovery Corp., formed following the combination of Aero Energy, Urano Energy and Pegasus Resources (completed 7 May 2026), and Chairman of Predator Group.
