Chairman and Director of Chakana Copper Corp. (Douglas B. Silver.) In mining since 1980; co-discovered the Silver Creek molybdenum deposit in Colorado. Founded Bond International Gold in 1987 and headed Investor Relations for what was then the NYSE's largest mining IPO. Co-founded International Royalty Corporation in 2003 and built it into what was described as the world's fourth-largest royalty company before its C$749 million sale in 2010. Portfolio Manager at Red Kite Management (2011); helped establish Orion Resource Partners, which grew to roughly US$6 billion in assets. Founded the Denver Gold Group investment conference. 2018 inductee, U.S. National Mining Hall of Fame; 2023 inductee, Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. M.Sc.
