Geologist (PhD, University of Queensland, 2000, on Argentine Central Andes copper/gold mineralization); began his career with MIM Exploration at Ravenswood Gold Mine; instrumental in discovering AngloGold Ashanti's La Rescatada gold mine in Peru and served as AngloGold Ashanti's Chief Geologist for South America (2002-2004); identified the Amulsar project in Armenia and founded Lydian International before founding Royal Road.
