Jorge A. Ganoza

Chief Executive Officer, Director and Co-Founder of Fortuna Mining Corp. (founded 2005 alongside Simon Ridgway and Mario Szotlender); also its President until 1 September 2026, when Luis D. Ganoza became President. Geological engineer, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (1995); fourth-generation miner from a Peruvian mining family. Has overseen the complete project lifecycle -- exploration, discovery, design, construction, commissioning and closure -- delivering five mining operations across Latin America and West Africa. Earlier career: business development at senior levels for several Canadian junior mining companies in Central/South America (1995-2005). Was a director of Ferreycorp, Mar 2017-Jul 2020.
