Roderick McIllree

Executive Director of Great Bear Exploration Ltd, appointed effective February 28, 2026, succeeding outgoing Executive Director Nicholas Castellano. London-based geologist and mining veteran with a deep understanding of narrow-vein, high-grade gold deposits within the Asia Pacific region; over 20 years founding and holding senior positions with international mining companies including Medusa Mining, Anvil Mining and Kingsrose Mining, and exploration companies Greenland Minerals and Energy, Bluejay Mining and Elemental Minerals. Geology graduate from Curtin University with a Graduate Diploma in Mineral Economics from the Kalgoorlie School of Mines; earlier in his career worked as a Mining Analyst at William Noall Ltd. and as a stockbroker at Patersons Securities and Kirke Securities.
