Robert (Bob) Quartermain

Co-Chairman, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dakota Gold Corp. President and Chief Executive Officer of Silver Standard Resources Inc. (now SSR Mining Inc.) for 25 years (1985-2010), building it into a diversified precious metals company. Founded Pretium Resources Inc. in 2010, serving as Founder and Executive Chairman (2017-2019) and advancing the Brucejack project in northern British Columbia from concept to production before its ~US$3.5 billion sale to Newcrest Mining. Inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2022 and appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2026.
