Ken Konkin

P.Geo. with a Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences from UBC (1984) and 40+ years of geological experience across North/South America and Russia. Spent 19 years at Silver Standard managing advanced exploration at Manantial Espejo (Argentina), San Luis and Berenguela (Peru), and the Snowfield property in BC's Golden Triangle. After Pretium Resources acquired the Snowfield-Brucejack project in 2010, became project manager and was instrumental in discovering the Valley of Kings deposit at Brucejack, now an ~8-million-ounce producing mine. Shared in the PDAC's 2013 Bill Dennis Award and the 2017 H.H. "Spud" Huestis Award.
