ZincX Resources Corp. (TSXV: ZNX) is a mineral exploration company advancing its 100%-owned Akie property (46 mineral claims, 116 km2) in the Zn-Pb-Ag-enriched Kechika Trough district of northeastern British Columbia. The property hosts the baritic zinc-lead SEDEX Cardiac Creek deposit, identified through drilling since 2005, and is frequently cited as one of the few high-quality zinc assets in a Tier-1 jurisdiction. In August 2024 ZincX and Teck Resources Limited entered a service agreement under which Teck conducted advanced metallurgical test work on select Cardiac Creek drill core (at Teck's sole expense) and rented ZincX's Akie exploration camp -- a collaboration/service arrangement, not an ownership stake or option; ZincX retains 100% of the property throughout. The surface drilling permit was renewed in April 2026 to 31 Dec 2028, and mineral tenure was extended to 10 Jan 2035.

Jurisdiction (40%)9/10
British Columbia: Fraser PPI 2025 is 74.28 of 100 (rank 31 of 68), which maps to 9 on this site's scale. The Akie property is in British Columbia's Kechika Trough, a Tier-1 Canadian mining jurisdiction.
Infrastructure (40%)5/10
No confirmed mill and confirmed road access at Akie Property (Cardiac Creek Deposit), Kechika Trough, British Columbia, Canada; grid power and tailings facility not yet researched, counted at a neutral 5/10 until established.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No producing mine within 50 km in our reference list (nearest listed: Mount Milligan (Centerra Gold Inc.), 255 km). That list doesn't cover every mining district yet, so a longer distance isn't scored as remote.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.
How this score is built

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored
No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders
Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
ZincX Resources owns 100% of the Akie property, 46 mineral claims covering 116 km2 in the zinc-lead-silver Kechika Trough district of north-eastern British Columbia, which hosts the Cardiac Creek SEDEX zinc-lead deposit. The resource, effective November 2017, contains 1,887,851 t of zinc in the indicated category (22.7 Mt at 8.32% zinc, 1.61% lead and 14.1 g/t silver), with no measured category, plus 530,249 t of zinc inferred. The 2018 preliminary economic assessment, still the most advanced study, contemplated a 4,000 tpd underground mine operating for 18 years. Under an August 2024 service agreement Teck Resources carried out metallurgical test work on Cardiac Creek drill core at its own expense and rented the Akie camp, without taking any interest in the property. The surface drilling permit was renewed in April 2026 to 31 December 2028, and mineral tenure was extended to 10 January 2035.
