Group Eleven Resources Corp. (TSXV: ZNG) is an Ireland-focused zinc-lead-silver explorer with three projects along the Rathdowney Trend. Its exploration focus is the Ballywire discovery on the PG West project in County Limerick, a September 2022 zinc-lead-silver discovery now traced across 3.2 km of strike, with high-grade step-out results including germanium credits and four active drill rigs, but no mineral resource estimate yet. Stonepark (78.62% Group Eleven, 21.38% Arkle Resources plc), found by Teck Resources' 2007-2011 drilling, hosts an inferred resource of 5.3 Mt at 11.15% zinc plus lead (8.55% zinc, 2.60% lead; CSA Global for SLR Consulting, effective 15 March 2018), with one drill rig extending it; the company's Stonepark page quotes 5.1 Mt at 11.3%, which does not match that statement. Ballinalack, a 60/40 joint venture with Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet, one of China's largest zinc producers, hosts an inferred resource of 5.4 Mt at 8.7% zinc plus lead (7.6% zinc, 1.1% lead) and 9.0 g/t silver (CSA Global, effective 30 August 2018), from Group Eleven's 2018 drilling plus historic drilling back to the 1970s, across 170 km2 of prospecting licences. Neither resource has a measured or indicated category, and no economic study has been completed on any project.

What goes into it
  • Jurisdiction (40%)9/10

All three projects (PG West/Ballywire, Stonepark, Ballinalack) sit in Ireland, an EU member state with a long, well-established zinc-mining history (e.g. the nearby producing Tara/Navan zinc-lead mine, ~50km from Ballinalack) -- a stable, top-tier-rule-of-law jurisdiction.

  • Infrastructure (40%)No verified figure

Researched with nothing found: no source we could cite confirms or rules out an existing mill, road access, grid power, or tailings facility at PG West Project (Ballywire Discovery), County Limerick, Ireland (checked Sep 30, 2026; recheck due Mar 29, 2027). Counts at a neutral 5/10 until one does.

  • Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched

No project coordinates on file yet, so distance to a producing mine can't be measured.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
4.7/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

How this score is built

  • Disclosed pending deal
    Sub-score: Not scored

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)

Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.

  • Producer's strategic stake
    Sub-score: Not scored

No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.
