Vantage Metals Limited (renamed and re-ticked from Belararox Limited/ASX:BRX to ASX:VAN in a shareholder-approved rebrand effective ~17 July 2026) is a mineral exploration company. Its named flagship is the 100%-owned Kalahari Copper Project in northwestern Botswana -- roughly 3,900 square kilometres across 14 licences within the Kalahari Copperbelt, near Maun and adjacent to MMG's Khoemacau copper hub. Diamond drilling for sedimentary-hosted copper began in August 2026, testing three priority areas designed to define the Ngwako Pan-D'Kar geological contact that controls copper mineralisation in the belt, guided by aeromagnetic and airborne EM data; the program is planned to run at least until October 2026. The company's secondary asset is the Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) project, 32,000 hectares in San Juan Province, Argentina, targeting a copper-gold-silver-zinc porphyry/epithermal system -- recent work includes high-grade drilling at the Toro Central prospect and the addition of the 22km2 El Faro tenement adjacent to the Toro South target. Will Dix was appointed CEO effective 1 April 2026, bringing more than 25 years of base metal, precious metal and uranium exploration and mining experience. No Mineral Resource estimate has yet been defined at either project.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Technical Report Takeaways

Ticker/name both changed from BRX/Belararox Limited to VAN/Vantage Metals Limited ~17 Jul 2026 -- this is seeded under the current live ASX code (VAN, confirmed free of any Miner collision), not the defunct BRX code the UniverseCandidate row still carries. commodity=COPPER: both Kalahari (sedimentary-hosted Cu) and TMT (Cu-Au-Ag-Zn porphyry) are copper-primary targets. jurisdictionRiskScore/country (Botswana, 8) reflect the explicitly-named flagship (Kalahari) rather than the secondary Argentina project -- TMT's own jurisdiction (San Juan, Argentina) would score 6 per this schema's existing San Juan convention, a real but secondary consideration given the flagship is Botswana. stage=GRASSROOTS: no resource or economic study exists at either project -- both are still at target-definition/discovery drilling. cashPositionUsd and projectOwnershipPct deliberately NOT written: no primary-sourced current cash figure was found this pass, and while Kalahari is described as 100%-owned no single source pinned that percentage together with a citable URL distinct from the descriptive text already in this row.
