American Pacific Mining Corp.
American Pacific Mining's flagship is the 100%-owned, past-producing Madison Copper-Gold Project near Silver Star, Montana. Kennecott Exploration Company (a Rio Tinto subsidiary) held an 11-year earn-in option to acquire up to 70% of Madison for up to ~US$30M in spend, but that option was mutually discontinued in February 2024 and American Pacific regained 100% ownership -- it is not currently a joint venture. A fully-funded, two-rig, 15,000m drill program is underway in 2026 testing near-surface skarn and deeper porphyry-style copper-gold targets, with the company's first mineral resource estimate for Madison targeted for 2027. American Pacific no longer holds the Palmer copper-zinc VMS project in southeast Alaska: it sold Constantine Metal Resources Ltd., the subsidiary that held Palmer, to Vizsla Copper Corp. in a sale that closed on December 4, 2025 for 13,888,888 Vizsla Copper shares (about C$15 million) plus up to C$15 million in milestone payments, leaving American Pacific with an equity stake in Vizsla Copper (~15.8% at closing) rather than any direct interest in Palmer or its mineral resource. The company's remaining projects are all in Nevada: it wholly owns Ziggurat (gold) and Gooseberry (silver-gold, a past-producing mine that operated between 1900 and 1990), and holds Red Hill (gold, Cortez Trend) under lease. No project American Pacific currently holds carries a current NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate. CEO is Warwick Smith.

Lifecycle Milestones
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money
Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.
ASA Gold and Precious Metals, a well-known specialist closed-end mining fund, holds a small stake. Five different directors and officers made genuine open-market purchases between August and October 2025, with no insider selling on record -- a real, if modest, cluster of insider conviction.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
No current NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate exists for ANY project American Pacific Mining holds, as of Aug 2026. (a) Madison Copper-Gold, Silver Star, Montana -- 100% owned, past-producing, no resource estimate; the company targets its FIRST Madison MRE for 2027, following the fully-funded 15,000 m two-rig 2026 program. (b) Gooseberry Silver-Gold, Storey County, Nevada -- 100%, no royalties. An updated NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT was filed (effective 2025-12-03, QP Steven L. McMillin, Rangefront Mining Services), but it contains NO resource estimate -- the reported assays are drill intercepts, not an updated mineral resource estimate. A filed technical report and a filed resource estimate are different things and this row must not be re-promoted by conflating them. (c) Ziggurat, Nevada -- exploration, Phase II drilling early Q3 2026, no estimate. (d) Red Hill, Nevada (Cortez Trend) -- held under lease, historical third-party drilling only (Barrick 2006), no estimate. [Task #126 correction: this note previously read 'Madison Project (Butte, Montana, copper-gold -- the company's OTHER project) has NO resource estimate yet' -- accurate about Madison, but framed around Palmer as the primary asset. American Pacific SOLD Palmer (via Constantine Metal Resources Ltd.) to Vizsla Copper, closing 2025-12-04; Palmer's Indicated 4.77 Mt @ 1.69% Cu / 5.17% Zn MRE is Vizsla Copper's, not this company's, and must not be used to support any stage or resource claim on this row. American Pacific's retained ~15.8% equity stake in Vizsla Copper is a treasury asset, not an operating interest in the deposit.] ouncesFound left null (copper/polymetallic tonnage commodity, and nothing to report regardless).
