Sprott Physical Uranium Trust is NOT an operating miner, explorer or royalty company. It is a closed-end fund established under the laws of the Province of Ontario, managed by Sprott Asset Management LP of Toronto, which in its own words "invests and holds substantially all of its assets in uranium in the form of U3O8" with the goal of providing "a secure, convenient and exchange-traded investment alternative for investors who want to hold uranium." It holds physical triuranium octoxide in kind at third-party licensed facilities -- Cameco in Canada, ConverDyn in the United States and Orano in France -- and holds no mining equities and no mineral properties. It was formed on 19 July 2021, following shareholder approval on 7 July 2021, by an arrangement that reorganised Uranium Participation Corporation (formerly TSX: U, and the entity behind the now-defunct US OTC ticker URPTF) into the Trust, with each UPC common share exchanged for one Trust unit; that reorganisation is why URPTF is rejected as a superseded duplicate elsewhere in this same task. The Trust lists two unit classes on the Toronto Stock Exchange -- U.UN quoted in Canadian dollars and U.U quoted in US dollars -- and THIS RECORD IS THE USD CLASS (U.U), which is why its localCurrency is USD despite a TSX listing. As at 24 August 2026 the Trust held 81,697,348 pounds of U3O8 with total net asset value of US$7,393,413,531, of which US$7,303,130,144 was the market value of the uranium itself and the roughly US$90 million balance was residual cash and other net assets, equal to US$21.48 (CA$29.75) per unit across 344,156,215 units outstanding. Fees are a base management fee of 0.35% per annum plus operating expenses, giving a management expense ratio of 0.71% annualised for the period ended 30 June 2026. Its technical advisor on physical uranium matters is WMC Energy; RBC Investor Services is trustee. Because it holds a physical commodity rather than shares in producers, none of the deposit, resource or mine-economics fields in this database apply to it: it has no ore body, no mine life and no project economics, by construction rather than for want of research.
Lifecycle Milestones
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Management Team
Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sprott Asset Management LP and Sprott Asset Management GP Inc. (the Manager of Sprott Physical Uranium Trust, responsible for the Trust's day-to-day business and administration), a role held since 2017. Sprott Physical Uranium Trust itself is a passive closed-end investment trust with no CEO of its own -- this role is the real, disclosed officer functionally responsible for the Trust via its Manager, not an invented 'CEO of the Trust' title.
Chief Financial Officer of Sprott Asset Management LP and Sprott Asset Management GP Inc. (the Manager of Sprott Physical Uranium Trust); also Chief Controller of Sprott Inc. Same honest framing as John Ciampaglia's role -- the Trust has no CFO of its own, this is the Manager's real, disclosed CFO.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
STRUCTURALLY INAPPLICABLE, NOT AN UNRESEARCHED GAP. Sprott Physical Uranium Trust owns no mineral property, so ouncesFound, dcfNpvUsd, irrPct, mineLifeYears, ouncesPerTon and aiscValue are category errors for this row rather than missing data, and no NI 43-101 technical report exists or could exist for it. The economically meaningful figures for a physical trust are its pound-count of U3O8 (81,697,348 lb), its net asset value (US$7,393,413,531, or US$21.48 per unit) and its premium or discount to that NAV -- Sprott's own published figures for 24 Aug 2026 show the USD units closing at US$20.42 against NAV of US$21.48, a discount of 4.95%. None of those has a dedicated column in this schema today; they are recorded here in prose rather than forced into a mining-shaped field.
