Its 100%-owned flagship is the ~17,000-hectare Curibaya Project, roughly 48 km northeast of Tacna in southern Peru, where Phase I and Phase II drilling have confirmed high-grade silver-gold mineralization along a 6 km corridor (45% of 24 completed holes exceeding 150 g/t Ag plus a gold component, including one intercept of 448.2 g/t Ag and 0.37 g/t Au over 1m). No NI 43-101 resource estimate has been published; further drilling is planned to test for an initial inferred resource.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
3/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

How this score is built

  • Disclosed pending deal
    Sub-score: Not scored

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)

Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.

    Weight 26.25%
  • Producer's strategic stake
    Sub-score: Not scored

No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

  • Distance to a producing mine
    Sub-score: Not yet researched

Distance not yet researched: no project coordinates on file

Distance can't be measured without coordinates, so excluded rather than counted as far.

ASA Gold and Precious Metals Limited, a genuine specialist closed-end fund dedicated to precious-metals mining equities, holds a real 9.86% stake -- the one outside specialist position on the register. Chairman Ivan Bebek has a strong mining deal-making track record (he sold Cayden Resources to Agnico Eagle for $205M), but as company leadership he is insider domain expertise, not outside informed capital, and this metric does not credit it.

Technical Report Takeaways

Tier One Silver, spun out of Auryn Resources in 2021, explores for silver, gold and copper at its 100%-owned Curibaya project, about 17,000 hectares some 48 km north-east of Tacna in southern Peru. Phase I and Phase II drilling have confirmed high-grade silver-gold mineralisation along a 6 km corridor, with 45% of 24 completed holes exceeding 150 g/t silver, including 1 metre of 448.2 g/t silver and 0.37 g/t gold. In June 2026 it signed a letter of intent to acquire a 70% interest in Compania Minera Ruta de Cobre, holder of a copper-molybdenum project in Ecuador, and in August 2026 it announced a financing of C$12-17 million to fund the acquisition. No NI 43-101 resource has been published for Curibaya.
