True North Copper Limited
True North Copper (formerly Duke Exploration Limited) is rebuilding around 100%-owned Queensland copper and gold-copper assets after emerging from voluntary administration in January 2025 via an AUD $50.3M underwritten recapitalization. Mining at Wallace North ceased in October 2024 and the Great Australia processing hub remains in care and maintenance, so the company is currently a developer/explorer rather than a producer. On 22 July 2026 it formally retracted the Cloncurry Copper Project's Ore Reserve estimates, production targets and related financial forecasts ("underlying assumptions no longer apply"), reaffirming only its JORC Mineral Resources and stating that no production decision has been made; a Cloncurry Pre-Feasibility Study commenced in December 2025 is guided to Q4 2026 alongside a maiden Ore Reserve, with a possible toll-treatment restart in 2027. Its most advanced completed study is the 11 August 2026 Wynberg gold-copper Scoping Study (53,200 oz AuEq production target entirely from Measured and Indicated resources, A$23-38M capex, A$53-87M pre-tax cash flow, ~two-year open-pit campaign). The Mt Oxide project (Aquila copper-cobalt-silver discovery) is being expanded with RC/diamond drilling through 2026 and received Queensland Government grant funding in April 2026.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money
Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.
The one named substantial holder on record, Regal Partners, is a broad multi-strategy fund rather than a resource specialist, and it has been steadily selling down its position over the past several months rather than adding to it. No producer or specialist resource fund holds a stake.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
Current governing technical studies (reviewed Task #105, 2026-08-14). CLONCURRY COPPER PROJECT: JORC 2012 Mineral Resources ONLY. On 22 Jul 2026 (Noosa investor presentation, ASX ID 6A1334919) TNC formally retracted the project's Ore Reserve estimates, production targets AND related forecast financial information -- 'underlying assumptions no longer apply' -- and cautioned investors not to rely on them; Mineral Resources were expressly reaffirmed as still supported by current data and JORC-compliant assumptions. The company states no production decision has been made and that further technical, economic and regulatory studies are required before any mine development. The Cloncurry PFS was only COMMENCED in Dec 2025 and is guided to Q4 2026 together with a MAIDEN Ore Reserve (the company's own word, confirming none stands today), with a possible toll-treatment mining restart in 2027. The Feb 2024 Mining Restart Study had already been disowned in the Dec 2024 recapitalisation prospectus. WYNBERG GOLD-COPPER PROJECT: a completed Scoping Study (11 Aug 2026) -- Production Target 872,000 t @ 1.67 g/t Au / 0.24% Cu for 53,200 oz AuEq (46,700 oz Au + 2,100 t Cu) drawn ENTIRELY from Measured and Indicated resources, three pathways (standalone / regional processing / integration with Cloncurry), capex A$23-38M, pre-tax cash flow A$52.8-86.8M, ~two-year shallow open-pit campaign -- over the 5 Aug 2026 updated MRE of 1.019 Mt @ 1.86 g/t Au, 0.25% Cu (61 koz Au, 3 kt Cu) at a 0.40 g/t Au cutoff. No NPV or IRR is published in that study, which is why dcfNpvUsd/irrPct remain null here. NOTE for future reviewers: this company's stage rests on WYNBERG, not on the flagship Cloncurry copper asset. Do not re-promote to PFS before the Cloncurry PFS and maiden Ore Reserve are actually delivered, and do not read the old pre-July-2026 Cloncurry reserve/production-target figures as live -- the company has withdrawn them.
