TGX Energy & Resources Inc. (TSXV: TGX), formerly True North Gems Inc., is a Canadian critical-metals explorer. Its only property is True Blue: 303 mining claims in the Pelly Mountains of southern Yukon (Watson Lake Mining District, about 55 km south of Ross River), where a Mississippian syenite stock and an associated carbonatite are prospective for rare earths and niobium. No work has been done on the property in recent years, and it has no mineral resource. Under a 2019 option agreement, American Critical Elements can earn up to 70% of the 68-claim True Blue rare-earth core by funding exploration. The Nabikok lithium property in Quebec, which TGX optioned in 2024, is no longer among its assets: its March 2026 financial statements list True Blue as the company's only exploration property. TGX's former gemstone business in Greenland is reported as a discontinued operation.

Infrastructure (40%)No verified figure
Researched with nothing found: no source we could cite confirms or rules out an existing mill, road access, grid power, or tailings facility at True Blue REE-Niobium Property, Pelly Mountains, Yukon, Canada (checked Oct 2, 2026; recheck due Mar 31, 2027). Counts at a neutral 5/10 until one does.

No project coordinates on file yet, so distance to a producing mine can't be measured.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.
