Silver Bull Resources, Inc. (TSX: SVB) owns the Sierra Mojada silver-zinc project in Coahuila, Mexico, its only asset, in a high-grade silver-lead-zinc district discovered in 1879. Sierra Mojada is an open-pittable oxide deposit with an NI 43-101 Measured and Indicated global resource of 70.4 million tonnes at 3.4% zinc and 38.6 g/t silver, for 5.35 billion pounds of zinc and 87.4 million ounces of silver, including a high-grade zinc zone and a high-grade silver zone. No current economic study supports the project: the 2013 preliminary economic assessment was based on an earlier resource and is no longer current. The site has been blockaded by a local cooperative since September 2019, which ended a prior option with South32; Silver Bull's arbitration claim against Mexico was dismissed on jurisdictional and time-limitation grounds in 2026, with legal costs awarded against it. In October 2026 the company said a local individual had obtained an adverse lower-court ruling and a lien over the project's mineral licences, which it disputes; Silver Bull remains the registered owner and aims to restore clear title and access before evaluating a path to feasibility.

Not yet determined: mill, tailings facility.
Jurisdiction (40%)6/10
The Sierra Mojada project is in Coahuila, Mexico, and carries risk well beyond the country baseline: the site has been blockaded by the Mineros Norteños cooperative since September 2019, with no access or drilling since, and Silver Bull's ICSID arbitration against the Mexican government over the blockade was dismissed on 29 May 2026, with the company ordered to pay about US$998,000 of Mexico's legal costs.
Infrastructure (40%)7.9/10
Confirmed road access and confirmed grid power at Sierra Mojada Silver-Zinc Project, Coahuila, Mexico; existing mill and tailings facility not yet researched, counted at a neutral 5/10 until established.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No producing mine within 50 km in our reference list (nearest listed: La Encantada (First Majestic Silver Corp.), 156 km). That list doesn't cover every mining district yet, so a longer distance isn't scored as remote.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.
How this score is built
- Disclosed pending dealSub-score: Not scored
No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored
No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders
Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.
