Siren Gold Limited is a Perth-registered, New Zealand-focused gold and antimony explorer whose asset base changed materially over the past year. It sold its subsidiary Reefton Resources to Rua Gold -- a transaction that made Rua the dominant Reefton Goldfield explorer with over 95% of the field -- and retains roughly a 17% shareholding in Rua, preserving indirect exposure to Reefton and to Rua's Glamorgan project in the Hauraki district. Its own remaining flagship, the Sams Creek gold project in Golden Bay at the top of the South Island, described by the company as one of the largest undeveloped gold resources in New Zealand, suffered a significant setback in the June 2026 quarter when its Minerals Mining Permit application, lodged with New Zealand Petroleum & Minerals in March 2025, was denied; the company had invested approximately NZ$5 million in the project since acquiring it in October 2022. Siren has since refocused on Queen Charlotte, near Marlborough, where June 2026 quarter soil sampling extended the Endeavour Shear Zone to 8 km between the historic Endeavour Inlet and Resolution Bay antimony mines and an access-arrangement application has been lodged with the Department of Conservation to enable drilling, and on Langdons, southwest of Reefton, where surface work exposed a 2 m shear zone assaying up to 8.5% antimony alongside gold. Sams Creek carries a Mineral Resource Estimate of 953,000 ounces at 2.41 g/t gold on a 1 g/t cut-off within the Main Zone fold, predominantly Inferred, with infill drilling at SE Traverse and Carapace aimed at converting material to Indicated and an updated resource plus the project's first Scoping Study targeted for the September 2026 quarter. Because the resource is predominantly Inferred with no disclosed Indicated-only breakout, no ounces are written to this database's Measured+Indicated-only ounces field.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money

Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.

Smart money
1/10

No institutional holder is on record. Former Executive Chairman Brian Rodan bought stock on the open market repeatedly through his tenure, though only one insider's buying was confirmed and no institutional or strategic backer was found. RUA GOLD's A$2M cash purchase of 10M Siren shares (as part of a Reefton asset sale) is a peer-junior cross-holding, not producer/specialist conviction.

Technical Report Takeaways

Sams Creek Project (NZ) JORC Table 1 compliance-section cutoffs by domain, per the same July 2025 ASX announcement: Main Zone & SE Traverse 1.85 g/t Au; Bobby Dazzler 1.0-2.0 g/t Au; Carapace 0.5 g/t Au. NOTE: these domain-level compliance-table cutoffs differ from the document's own headline-table figure (1.0 g/t Au, used for the 953koz @ 2.41g/t Au headline resource) -- a genuine internal inconsistency in Siren's own disclosure between its headline table and compliance table, not a research error.
