Rathdowney Resources Ltd. (TSXV: RTH) is a single-project company developing/permitting Project Olza, a Mississippi Valley-Type zinc-lead deposit covering ~71.4 km2 in Poland's Upper Silesian Mineral district. An independent Preliminary Economic Assessment (Apr 2015, led by SRK Consulting UK) modeled a conventional underground room-and-pillar mine (6,000 t/day, 2.16 Mt/yr) and returned strong headline economics: after-tax NPV8 US$170M, after-tax IRR 30%, initial capex US$227M, 8-year mine life, 2.4-year payback, at base-case zinc/lead prices tracking a median forecast of 30+ banks/dealers ($1.10/lb Zn years 1-2 then $1.00/lb; $1.09/lb Pb year 1, $1.00/lb year 2, $0.95/lb thereafter). The company continues to fund Olza's advancement via ongoing private placements (a C$600K non-brokered placement closed in tranches Jun-Jul 2026, with real insider participation).

Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
Rathdowney Resources is a single-project company advancing Project Olza, a Mississippi Valley-type zinc-lead deposit covering about 71.4 km2 in Poland's Upper Silesian district. Its resource is entirely inferred: 24.4 Mt at 7.02% zinc plus lead, or 5.53% zinc and 1.49% lead, at a 2% zinc cut-off. A preliminary economic assessment led by SRK Consulting in April 2015, for an underground room-and-pillar mine processing 6,000 tonnes a day, gave an after-tax NPV (8%) of US$170M, a 30% after-tax IRR, initial capital of US$227M and an 8-year mine life, using zinc and lead price assumptions of about US$1.00/lb for most of the mine life. That study is more than a decade old and has not been updated. The company funds work on Olza through private placements, most recently one that closed in tranches in June and July 2026.
