PMET Resources Inc. (TSX: PMET; formerly Patriot Battery Metals) is a Canadian hard-rock lithium developer advancing its 100%-owned Shaakichiuwaanaan Property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec. The property hosts the CV5 and CV13 spodumene pegmatites plus associated caesium (Rigel/Vega) zones, and its Mineral Resource ranks as the largest lithium pegmatite resource in the Americas (8th largest globally). A CV5 lithium-only Feasibility Study was delivered 21 October 2025 (NI 43-101 technical report effective 20 October 2025), outlining a 19-year mine life producing spodumene concentrate, after-tax NPV8% of C$1,594M (~US$1,190M), 18.1% after-tax IRR, and initial capital of C$1,978M (C$1,510M net of investment-tax-credit proceeds), based on a long-term price assumption of US$1,221/t SC5.5 spodumene concentrate. The FS is deliberately scoped to CV5 alone (lithium-only); CV13 and the caesium zones remain additional resource upside not yet incorporated into project economics.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
5/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

How this score is built

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.
