Pacific Ridge Exploration (formerly Columbia Gold Mines) explores for copper-gold porphyry deposits in the northern Quesnel terrane of British Columbia, and its only resource is led by gold. Its flagship, 100%-owned Kliyul project hosts an inferred resource of 334.1 Mt at 0.15% copper, 0.26 g/t gold and 0.95 g/t silver (1.11 billion lb of copper, 2.74 Moz of gold and 10.22 Moz of silver; estimate effective 31 July 2025), and at the estimate's own prices gold is about 57% of its value and copper about 41%. The company also holds the RDP, Onjo and Redton copper-gold projects in British Columbia, and it completed its 2026 drilling at Kliyul and RDP in September 2026.

  • Infrastructure (40%)No verified figure

Researched with nothing found: no source we could cite confirms or rules out an existing mill, road access, grid power, or tailings facility at Kliyul Copper-Gold Project, Quesnel Trough, British Columbia, Canada (checked Sep 30, 2026; recheck due Mar 29, 2027). Counts at a neutral 5/10 until one does.

  • Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched

No producing mine within 50 km in our reference list (nearest listed: Mount Milligan (Centerra Gold Inc.), 203 km). That list doesn't cover every mining district yet, so a longer distance isn't scored as remote.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
3.2/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

How this score is built

  • Disclosed pending deal
    Sub-score: Not scored

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)

Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.

  • Producer's strategic stake
    Sub-score: Not scored

No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Technical Report Takeaways

Pacific Ridge Exploration, formerly Columbia Gold Mines, explores for copper-gold porphyry deposits in the northern Quesnel terrane of British Columbia. Its 100%-owned flagship Kliyul project hosts an inferred resource of 334.1 million tonnes at 0.33% copper equivalent, containing 1.11 billion lb of copper, 2,740,000 oz of gold and 10.22 Moz of silver, with no measured or indicated category (estimate effective 31 July 2025). At the estimate's own US$4.60/lb copper, US$2,600/oz gold and US$30/oz silver, gold is about 57% of that value and copper about 41%, so gold is its leading metal. In 2026 it drilled about 2,500m at the previously undrilled M39 target on the Kliyul trend and about 3,000m at its 100%-owned RDP copper-gold project, completing both programmes in September 2026, and it also holds the Onjo and Redton projects. No economic study has been published.
