Pecoy Copper Corp.
Pecoy Copper Corp. holds 100% of the Pecoy copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project (19 concessions, ~9,975 hectares) and the adjacent Tororume project in southern Peru. The Pecoy deposit carries an inferred resource of 865Mt at 0.34% Cu (~6.5 billion lb contained copper), with a first diamond drill hole intersecting ~1,186 metres of continuous mineralization confirming significant depth extension below the current resource-pit shell. The company is fully funded for a 2026 drill program targeting resource growth and district-scale potential.

Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.
How this score is built
- Disclosed pending dealSub-score: Not scored
No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money
Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.
Pecoy Copper raised a large $63.5 million financing in mid-2025 through a syndicate of mainstream investment banks, but no individual investor was named publicly, and no producer, specialist fund, or insider buying was found. The financing itself is real and well-documented; there is just no visible identity behind it to score as smart money yet.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
Pecoy Copper owns 100% of the Pecoy copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project, made up of 19 concessions covering about 9,975 hectares, and the adjacent Tororume project in southern Peru. The Pecoy deposit has an inferred resource of 865Mt at 0.34% copper, about 6.5 billion lb of contained copper; none of the resource is in the measured or indicated categories. A Phase 1 metallurgical review by Global Resource Engineering, completed in May 2026, re-examined historical test work and identified indicative recoveries in the primary domains of 92% for copper, 72% for gold, 84% for silver and 73% for molybdenum; it is not an economic assessment and needs confirmatory test work on new drill core. The company is funded for a 2026 drill program aimed at growing the resource, and drilling has intersected continuous mineralisation extending below the current resource pit shell.
