GoldBarimaia Gold Project (McNabs East), Mount Magnet, Murchison district, Western Australia; Goodia and Fisher South (100%) Map

Ordell Minerals Limited is a Western Australian gold explorer whose flagship is the Barimaia Gold Project near Mount Magnet in the Murchison district, in which it has earned an 80.3% joint-venture interest. Barimaia centres on the McNabs East prospect, targeting granodiorite/felsic-intrusion-hosted gold over roughly 7km of strike, geologically analogous to Ramelius Resources' Eridanus deposit approximately 6km to the northwest. A major approximately 14,000-metre drilling program commenced 17 August 2026 -- roughly 10,000m of infill RC across the McNabs East Main and Northern Zones plus approximately 4,000m of aircore testing for new felsic intrusions -- bringing total drilling between May and September 2026 to approximately 20,000m. Recent extensional diamond drilling returned 4.6m at 19.60g/t gold from 177.0m (including 0.8m at 89.43g/t), 15.8m at 2.94g/t from 109.8m and 9.7m at 1.94g/t from 203.2m, with mineralisation open down-dip and down-plunge to the east. A maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for McNabs East is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, with mining studies to follow it; no Mineral Resource has been declared on Barimaia or on the wholly-owned Goodia and Fisher South projects to date. The company held A$8.215 million in cash at 30 June 2026 with no debt or financing facilities of any kind.

Counts at a neutral 5/10 until one does.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
4.6/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Technical Report Takeaways

Ordell Minerals is a Western Australian gold explorer whose flagship is the Barimaia gold project near Mount Magnet in the Murchison district, where it has earned an 80.3% joint-venture interest; it also wholly owns the Goodia and Fisher South projects. Barimaia centres on the McNabs East prospect, targeting intrusion-hosted gold over about 7km of strike, where extensional diamond drilling returned 4.6m at 19.60 g/t gold from a depth of 177.0m and mineralisation remains open down-dip and down-plunge. A 122-hole, 8,625m infill reverse-circulation program was completed in September 2026, and the first 11 holes returned wide, shallow intercepts including 32m at 1.65 g/t gold from 31m and 19m at 2.70 g/t from 40m depth. A maiden resource estimate for McNabs East is targeted for the December 2026 quarter; no resource has yet been declared on any of the company's projects.
