Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
6/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Centerra Gold, an operating gold producer, paid about C$10.4 million cash for 9.9% of Nevada King in a financing that closed on 10 April 2026, and negotiated the right to participate in future raises and to receive information for as long as it stays above 5%. Separately, a U.S. gold and precious metals fund took roughly 5% in April 2025, buying 20 million shares directly from the CEO — though the company did not name it.
