Goldalso:Invicta (Huaura Province, Peru) -- development status uncertain post-2018 disruption Map

Lupaka Gold Corp. (TSXV:LPK) is a Peru-focused gold-copper development and exploration company whose situation as of this Aug 2026 research pass is materially different from a standard active-project explorer: its 100%-owned Invicta project (an advanced-stage underground gold-copper polymetallic deposit, 120 km north of Lima in Huaura Province, with a positive PEA on record for a 350 tonne/day toll-mill operation) was violently blockaded by protesters in 2018, and the Peruvian government was found by an ICSID tribunal (Case No. ARB/20/46, award 30 Jun 2025) to have failed to adequately suppress the disruption, resulting in a US$40M award to Lupaka -- since reported (Feb 2026 enforcement filing in US federal court, and separate company/press reporting of a negotiated partial settlement of ~US$49.4M) as still not fully paid by Peru. Whether/when Invicta itself resumes active development is not established by sources found in this pass; Lupaka's other Peru asset is an option to earn 65% of the Josnitoro property (Apurimac Department, near the Las Bambas and Constancia mines) from Hochschild Mining, with historical work including 170+ shallow drill holes. No current NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate for either property was confirmed in this pass.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

1/10

Lupaka's situation is unusual: its Invicta project was blockaded by protesters in 2018, and in 2025 an international arbitration tribunal awarded the company roughly US$40-49 million against the Peruvian government for failing to stop the disruption -- an award still being collected rather than a live mine-development story. Its other Peru asset is an option to earn 65% of the Josnitoro property FROM Hochschild Mining, which makes Hochschild a seller to Lupaka, not an investor in it. No producer or named specialist fund holds a disclosed position, and there are no insider trading records in our data.

Technical Report Takeaways

Last disclosed compliant figure but pre-2018-shutdown vintage -- Invicta was community-blockaded starting 2018, and Lupaka just won a ~$49.4M ICSID arbitration settlement (2025-2026) and is moving toward a restart; this is pre-restart-era data. DB flag (do not fix here, separate follow-up): stage is stored as GRASSROOTS, which looks inconsistent with having this PEA-stage resource on file.
