American Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LI, Nasdaq: AMLI) is a dual-flagship lithium developer with two advanced projects: the TLC Project (Esmeralda lithium district, Nye County, Nevada -- a near-surface claystone deposit) and the Falchani Project (Puno, southern Peru -- the 6th largest hard-rock lithium deposit in the world by the company's own description). TLC's independent NI 43-101 PEA (filed Mar 2023, completed by DRA Global/Stantec) reported a base-case after-tax NPV8% of US$3.26 billion and after-tax IRR of 27.5%. Falchani's updated NI 43-101 PEA (filed Jan 2024, on a resource base that had grown 476% to 5.53Mt LCE Measured & Indicated) reported an after-tax NPV8% of US$5.11 billion and IRR of 32.0%, with a base case of 32 years of mining plus 11 years of stockpile processing. PFS-level engineering work with DRA Global was launched on both projects as early as 2022-2023 but no completed PFS/FS technical report was found for either project as of this pass. American Lithium's third project, Macusani (Puno, Peru -- 'the largest undeveloped uranium project in Latin America' per the company), carries its own PEA-level economics (51.9M lb Indicated + 72.1M lb Inferred U3O8, after-tax NPV US$603M at US$17.27/lb LOM cost); the company announced an intention to spin out Macusani into an independent public company (following resolution of Peruvian concession litigation in the company's favour), but as of this pass Macusani remains presented on the company's own current website as an active, currently-held project with no completed spin-out. In May 2026 the company was accepted into the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Industrial Base Consortium.

Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Technical Report Takeaways

STAGE: PEA, anchored to TLC's filed Feb/Mar 2023 NI 43-101 PEA (after-tax NPV8% US$3.26B, IRR 27.5%) -- Falchani's own Jan 2024 updated PEA (after-tax NPV8% US$5.11B, IRR 32.0%) is comparably advanced, both are PEA-stage. PFS work has been announced/launched at both projects since 2022-2023 but no completed PFS/FS with real economics was found as of this pass -- dcfNpvUsd/irrPct fields below are deliberately left unpopulated at the Miner level given the company has TWO comparably-advanced PEA-stage projects with materially different NPV/IRR figures (a single Miner-level dcfNpvUsd/irrPct pair would misleadingly imply one project's economics represent the whole company; both figures are recorded here in prose instead). ouncesFound left null: not a single-commodity gold/silver figure this convention was built for, and the company has two separately-quantified lithium resources plus a separately-quantified uranium byproduct resource (Macusani) that a single ouncesFound number cannot represent. [Task #871] Per the Task #347 convention, both projects' economics are now additionally recorded on their own Project rows (TLC Project, Falchani Project) with cited dcfNpvUsd/irrPct -- this note's prose figures above are corroborated there, not just asserted in description text. This closes the real gap the audit script found: the research existed in prose but had never been entered into any queryable field at either the Miner or Project level.
