The company closed an upsized US$115 million equity financing in Jan 2026 and reported zero debt with US$115.0 million working capital as of 31 Mar 2026. No confirmed mill, confirmed road access, no confirmed grid power, and no confirmed tailings facility at Livengood Gold Project.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No producing mine within 50 km in our reference list (nearest listed: Fort Knox (Kinross Gold Corporation), 79 km). That list doesn't cover every mining district yet, so a longer distance isn't scored as remote.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money
Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.
Two well-known resource investors -- Paulson & Co. (~39.9%) and the Electrum Group (~12.2%) -- together control roughly half of International Tower Hill Mines. A prior DB claim of 'a smaller Eric Sprott stake (~9.5%)' does not correspond to any personal Eric Sprott filing found: the only Sprott-named presence on record is the institutionally distinct Sprott Inc./Sprott Asset Management USA, Inc. (the publicly traded asset manager, TSX: SII), which reported 3.8% as of a May 2026 13G/A -- down from 10.4% in early-to-mid 2025. The ~9.5% figure most likely traces to a shareholder-aggregator page mislabeling that institutional position as personal Eric Sprott. No individual Eric Sprott stake is confirmed here. Substantial, dated open-market insider buying (roughly $84.7 million across five purchases in 2026) was found, with no offsetting selling.
