Infinico Metals Corp.
Infinico Metals Corp. (formerly Burin Gold Corp., renamed August 2023) is a Vancouver-based company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange that currently holds no mineral project. On 20 August 2025 it terminated its option agreements with Ressources Broadback Inc. and Julie Gadoury, giving up its option to acquire the Nicobi nickel-copper-cobalt property, about 160 km northeast of Val-d'Or, Quebec, its last remaining project. Its first Nicobi drill program, in January 2024, cut 51.94 m at 1.37% nickel, but the second, in mid-2024, found no significant mineralization and the company said the known mineralized area was closed off. Its option on the Dalhousie property, also in Quebec, ended in July 2024, and its earlier gold prospects on Newfoundland's Burin Peninsula have not appeared in its releases since 2023. Since giving up Nicobi the company has raised working capital (a C$165,000 private placement closed in January 2026), changed its board and consolidated its shares 15-for-1, effective 25 February 2026. Its releases describe a focus on early-stage exploration in Canada but name no new property or acquisition.

Quebec: Fraser PPI 2025 is 79.39 of 100 (rank 23 of 68), which maps to 9 on this site's scale. The score reflects the company's former Quebec focus, not a held property: Infinico has held no mineral project since it gave up its Nicobi option on 20 August 2025.
Infrastructure (40%)Not yet researched
No flagship project on file yet, so existing mill, road access, grid power, and tailings facility haven't been researched.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No project coordinates on file yet, so distance to a producing mine can't be measured.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored
No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders
Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Distance not yet researched: no project coordinates on file
Distance can't be measured without coordinates, so excluded rather than counted as far.
