A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

23 years of global capital markets experience with Barclays Capital, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and BMO Capital Markets before joining Fury as CEO in 2021.

Co-founded Keegan Resources (now Galiano Gold), contributing to financing and strategy behind the ~5-million-ounce Esaase gold discovery in Ghana. Co-founded and served as CEO of Cayden Resources, leading it through exploration success to its 2014 acquisition by Agnico Eagle Mines for C$205 million. Went on to co-found Auryn Resources (now Fury Gold Mines) as Executive Chairman, and was appointed Strategic Advisor for Corporate Development and Finance at Eminent Gold in January 2026.

Smart money
1/10

Checked thoroughly and little turned up. The only sized position on the register is FMR LLC (Fidelity) at 7.42%, and that figure is from a December 2023 SEC filing, now more than two and a half years stale. Fidelity is a generalist manager, though its dedicated precious-metals fund, Fidelity Select Gold Portfolio, does appear among the holders with no size disclosed. No producer or strategic corporate stake could be confirmed, there is no insider buying on record, and institutional ownership is 8.6%.
