Bullfrog Gold Corporation (TSXV: FROG) is the result of a corporate combination completed 1-2 Jun 2026: Applied Graphite Technologies Corporation (a Canadian shell advancing the past-producing Queens Mine Complex vein-graphite property, Sri Lanka, acquired Mar 2024) acquired the private Bullfrog Gold Corporation (owner of the South Bullfrog gold project, Nevada) and renamed itself to match, changing its ticker from AGT to FROG. The Sri Lanka Queens Mine Complex (a historical, past-producing vein-graphite mine acquired Mar 2024, extracting ~20 t/month under its former operator with intentions to ramp to 3,000 t/year) remains in permitting and has no NI 43-101/JORC-compliant resource estimate; the company's priority is the South Bullfrog gold project.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
4.6/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

How this score is built

  • Disclosed pending deal
    Sub-score: Not scored

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)

Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.

  • Producer's strategic stake
    Sub-score: Not scored

No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

  • Distance to a producing mine

Technical Report Takeaways

Bullfrog Gold, formerly Applied Graphite Technologies, took its current name in June 2026 after acquiring the private Bullfrog Gold Corporation. Its focus is the 100%-owned South Bullfrog gold project, 488 claims covering about 10,050 acres in Nevada's Beatty district between AngloGold Ashanti's Bullfrog, North Bullfrog and Arthur properties, where a maiden, permitted drill program of about 3,000m at the Longtail and Shingleback epithermal targets is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. It also holds the past-producing Queens Mine Complex vein-graphite property in Sri Lanka, which is in permitting. No resource of any category exists for South Bullfrog; the larger resources in the district belong to AngloGold Ashanti.
