Errington Metals IncE
Errington Metals Inc (TSXV: EM, formerly Black Pearl Resources Corp) is a Canadian explorer that completed a go-public transaction on 17 April 2026 and began trading 22 April 2026. It wholly owns the Sudbury Basin Project, a VMS-style (volcanogenic massive sulphide) copper-zinc-lead-silver property held for over 50 years by Glencore Canada and its predecessors before falling dormant in 2014; Errington acquired it in 2025 and is running the first exploration program on the ground in over a decade. A 45,000+ metre drill campaign is underway through 2026 across the Errington and Balfour mineralized zones, both remaining open along strike and at depth, explicitly building toward an initial Mineral Resource Estimate planned for H2 2026 -- not yet published as of this pass. The company closed a C$34.5 million brokered private placement on 11 August 2026 (C$24.5M common shares + C$10M flow-through shares), funding continued Sudbury drilling and Canadian/Ontario critical-minerals exploration expenditure.

Lifecycle Milestones
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
STAGE: GRASSROOTS -- the company's own materials explicitly state an initial Mineral Resource Estimate is planned for H2 2026, i.e. not yet published as of this pass (25 Aug 2026); the extensive drill campaign (45,000m+, Errington + Balfour zones) has not yet converted to a defined resource. Real polymetallic (Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag) mineralization is described in company materials, but no MinerCommodity secondary rows were written for Zn/Pb/Ag: this backlog's commodity-coverage campaign (Task #604) requires a quantified company-stated figure before recording a secondary commodity, and pre-resource drill intercepts don't meet that bar. A future pass after the H2 2026 MRE lands should revisit both stage and secondary-commodity coverage.
