OtherYinnetharra Lithium Project and Mt Ida (lithium), Western Australia Map

Delta Lithium Limited (formerly Red Dirt Metals Limited, renamed Apr 2023) is a lithium explorer with a global JORC-compliant resource of 36.5Mt @ 1.0% Li2O across its Western Australia projects: the Yinnetharra Lithium Project (Gascoyne Lithium Province, >3,100km2) and Mt Ida (lithium + tantalum + rubidium, 'fully permitted' per one source). No dedicated Lithium entry exists in this database's Commodity enum, hence OTHER. Corporate restructuring: Delta demerged its Mt Ida GOLD assets (a separate 1.1Moz JORC gold resource, 10.3Mt @ 3.33 g/t, ~85% co-located with the lithium footprint but a distinct resource) into a newly ASX-listed entity, Ballard Mining Limited, completed 14 Jul 2025 -- Delta retains a 41% equity stake in Ballard, so the gold resource is NOT written to Delta's own ouncesFound/commodity here (it belongs to a company Delta only partly owns). Hancock Prospecting and Mineral Resources Ltd (MinRes) collectively hold ~22% of Delta; Non-Executive Chairman Chris Ellison is also a founder/major figure at MinRes. Delta requested and was granted an ASX trading halt on 1 Apr 2026 to respond to ASX queries arising from a media article -- the underlying content and resolution were not confirmed against a primary source this pass; the stock was trading normally again by Aug 2026. GAP (recorded, not guessed): no dcfNpvUsd, mineLifeYears, or exact JORC-table report date confirmed for the 36.5Mt lithium resource this pass; the Apr 2026 trading-halt matter is a genuine open item, not resolved as takeover-related or otherwise.

Cut-off: Yinnetharra: 0.5% Li2O -- Mineral Resource cut-off (current MRE, effective 2025-03-31, reaffirmed 2025-10-02, JORC 2012): 21.9Mt @ 1.0% Li2O, 74% Indicated. Mt Ida: 0.55% Li2O cut-off CONFIRMED for the prior (2023-10, maiden) MRE vintage (14.6Mt @ 1.2% Li2O) only. The current Mt Ida update (announced 2025-11-13, 14.8Mt @ 1.21% Li2O overall, adds maiden rubidium component) presumptively carries the same 0.55% Li2O cut-off basis forward (standard practice not to silently change cutoff methodology between incremental updates to the same deposit), but this was NOT independently re-confirmed in accessible sources for the current figure -- stated here as an explicit uncertainty, not asserted as fact.

Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.
