Decade Resources Ltd (TSXV: DEC), established 2006, is a Canadian junior explorer active in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. Its Red Cliff property (65% interest, Decade the majority owner/operator) hosts the Upper Montrose, Lower Montrose, and Red Cliff Copper/Gold Zones near Stewart, BC -- historically the first gold-copper producer in the area, with 2,385 metres of underground workings from early-1900s mining focused on the copper-dominant Red Cliff Zone. In September 2026 the company announced a major expansion of exploration at its 100%-owned Bonaparte copper-gold property after porphyry-style copper mineralization was intersected in the first drill hole, increasing planned drilling by 1,000m and staking an additional 1,400 hectares. The company also holds North Mitchell and Nobody Knows (both 100%) and has secured drill permits across all four properties for an aggressive 2026 program.

Acquisition Susceptibility

How this is calculated
4.3/10
Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Technical Report Takeaways

Decade Resources is a British Columbia explorer focused on the Golden Triangle, where it holds 65% of the Red Cliff copper-gold property near Stewart as majority owner and operator. Red Cliff hosts the Upper Montrose, Lower Montrose and Red Cliff copper-gold zones and was historically the area's first gold-copper producer, with 2,385 metres of underground workings from early-1900s mining. In September 2026 Decade expanded exploration at its 100%-owned Bonaparte copper-gold property after its first drill hole intersected porphyry-style copper mineralisation, adding 1,000m of planned drilling and staking a further 1,400 hectares. It also owns the North Mitchell and Nobody Knows properties, holds drill permits on all four for its 2026 program, and has no resource estimate on any of them.
