Cantex Mine Development Corp. (TSXV: CD) is a 100%-owned exploration-stage explorer advancing the North Rackla Massive Sulphide Project, a 14,077-hectare claim block within its larger ~21,500-hectare North Rackla land package northeast of Mayo, Yukon Territory. The Main Zone has been drill-confirmed to a 2.65km strike length, hosting high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization (drill results have included intercepts such as 15m of 62 g/t Ag, 3.49% Pb, 19.38% Zn) that has also proven to be enriched in germanium. A metallurgical test-work program begun in January 2026 has demonstrated that conventional sulphide flotation can produce high-quality lead and zinc concentrates with strong silver credits from both high-grade and low-grade mineralization, and X-ray-transmission ore-sorting testing is also underway. The 2026 drill program is extending the Main Zone's strike length and testing new targets across the claim block. In August 2025 the company closed an oversubscribed C$5.28 million private placement.

Yukon: Fraser PPI 2025 is 62.19 of 100 (rank 47 of 68), which maps to 8 on this site's scale. The North Rackla project is in Yukon. Yukon has Canadian rule of law, but mining executives rate its policy climate below Canada's leading provinces.
Infrastructure (40%)No verified figure
Researched with nothing found: no source we could cite confirms or rules out an existing mill, road access, grid power, or tailings facility at North Rackla Massive Sulphide Project, Yukon, Canada (checked Sep 26, 2026; recheck due Mar 25, 2027). Counts at a neutral 5/10 until one does.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No project coordinates on file yet, so distance to a producing mine can't be measured.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.
How this score is built

No pending acquisition or merger disclosed (checked)
Not scored: having no deal in flight isn't held against a company.
Weight 26.25% - Producer's strategic stakeSub-score: Not scored
No producer holds a disclosed stake on file (holder register researched) See holders
Not scored: most juniors that do get bought had no prior toehold, so a missing stake says little either way.

Distance can't be measured without coordinates, so excluded rather than counted as far.
