BMC Minerals (Canadian-focused, dual-listed via a December 2025 ASX IPO) holds the Kudz Ze Kayah polymetallic project in Canada's Yukon Territory -- a 372 km2 land package hosting silver, zinc, copper, gold, and lead across the ABM and Kona deposits (2025 Indicated resource: 18.3 Mt at 148 g/t Ag, 6.3% Zn, 1.4 g/t Au, 0.9% Cu, 1.9% Pb). A completed 2023 feasibility study outlines a US$835 million pre-tax NPV and 42% IRR over a nine-year mine life; once built, the project is expected to become Canada's largest silver and zinc producer and a top-15 global copper producer, with mining and water licences still required ahead of a targeted late-2027 final investment decision. The project has faced Indigenous-rights-related legal challenges since 2017, since addressed via government/Kaska Nation talks.

Milestones are recorded only from a company's own dated disclosure. A milestone with no date shown is one we can confirm was reached but for which no date was disclosed — we don't estimate one. "Not yet reached" means exactly that, not that a date is missing. An "Expected" line likewise only ever reflects the company's own guidance (e.g. a study or permit decision targeted for a stated quarter) — most not-yet-reached milestones have none, and that absence means no such guidance has been disclosed, not that one is overdue.

Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money

Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.

Smart money
1/10

Checked thoroughly and found little that could be verified: insider ownership is unusually high at 74.77% and the shareholder base is heavily UK-weighted (64.67% per an independent geography breakdown), but no institution or backer could be resolved to a specific, named producer or resource-specialist. No qualifying insider purchase or sale was found either.

Technical Report Takeaways

Kudz Ze Kayah (KZK) Project / ABM Mine (Yukon, Canada), BMC Minerals' sole asset, PERMITTING stage. A prior pass left dcfNpvUsd/irrPct unwritten because secondary sources gave conflicting NPV figures across overlapping study vintages (a 2020-vintage after-tax NPV7%=US$617M/IRR 45.9%, vs. a separately-quoted US$835M/US$1.073Bn/US$1.3Bn depending on aggregator) -- resolved this pass by pulling BMC's own primary text directly: BMC's ASX-lodged December 2025 Quarterly Activities Report (28 Jan 2026; PDF text-extracted directly, not paraphrased by an aggregator) states verbatim: "The 2023 Economic update to the KZK Project feasibility study outlined a pre-tax NPV7% of $835 million for the ABM Mine at silver, gold and copper prices which are lower than the current long-term consensus prices, with a capital payback period of ~2 years" and separately defines "The discount rate used by the Company is 7% for all of its economic studies." This is BMC's own most recent restatement of its headline NPV (the underlying 2023 Economic Update to the Feasibility Study was itself announced 9 Oct 2023 -- asOfDate below is that original study announcement, consistent with how this DB dates other companies' studies; the 28 Jan 2026 quarterly is the source actually read and cited). PRE-TAX only, base case (long-term consensus-adjacent pricing, NOT the higher current-spot-price scenario referenced elsewhere): US$835M @ 7% discount rate. No IRR figure accompanies this pre-tax NPV in BMC's own Jan 2026 quarterly (which defines IRR but does not state a value for KZK) or on BMC's own website (bmcminerals.com/projects pages, checked this pass, carry no NPV/IRR at all) -- older secondary-sourced IRR figures (~41-47%, from paraphrases of the original Oct 2023 press release, not independently verified against BMC's own text this pass) are NOT written here to avoid re-introducing exactly the kind of unverified-aggregator-figure risk the prior pass flagged. irrPct recorded as a checked/VERIFIED gap instead of guessed. No after-tax NPV/IRR was found anywhere for this economic review (unlike the 2020-vintage study, which did have an after-tax figure but is an older, cost-superseded vintage per BMC's own Nov 2025 IPO-era characterization) -- pre-tax written and flagged, same precedent as wave 7/8's POL/BML/SVL(above). mineLifeYears=9 and ouncesFound=69,655,000 Ag (M+I, ABM Probable Ore Reserve) already VERIFIED from a prior wave and consistent with this same study -- unchanged.
