5 of 5 reached
  1. Reached — date not disclosed · Per Avino's own history page (avino.com/history): in 1967 the Ysita family (51%) and Avino Mines of Vancouver (49%) established Cia Minera Mexicana de Avino, 'securing property and mineral rights' over the historic Avino district (first mined by Spanish conquistador Francisco de Ibarra from 1562-63). This 1967 mineral-title acquisition is the same corporate/mineral-rights complex under which the mine operated until its 2001 mothballing and the Feb 2012 royalty-agreement-triggered restart already recorded on this miner's existing CONSTRUCTION_DECISION row. No dated new-permit-grant event specific to the 2012 restart was found -- consistent with a mine placed on care-and-maintenance in 2001 (not permit-surrendered) reusing its existing 1967-vintage mineral rights rather than obtaining a fresh grant, the same reused-pre-existing-permit shape as HL/DRD (Task #646 batch 1) and TGB (this batch, above). · Source
  2. Feb 2012 · Per Avino's own history page: a new 20-year royalty agreement with Minerales de Avino in February 2012 triggered development to reopen the main mine (mothballed since 2001). No standalone FID release distinct from this agreement was found. Exact day within February not given. · Source
  3. Nov 2012 · The de-watering program to reopen the flooded main mine began in November 2012. Exact day within November not given. · Source
  4. Jan 2015 · Avino resumed full-scale operations on January 1, 2015, per the company's own history page. · Source
  5. Reached — date not disclosed · Genuinely reached, but no single company-wide commercial-production date exists: Avino operates within the historic Avino silver-gold district (Durango, Mexico, over a century of mining history under numerous prior owners), comprising the Avino Mine (restarted under the current company's ownership in 2018 after a period of care and maintenance) and the separately-developed San Gonzalo mine (brought into production years earlier, in the 2010s), each with a different restart/start date. This row was missing entirely prior to 2026-08-21 -- a genuine data gap, not a stage error; Miner.stage was already correctly PRODUCTION. · Source

Milestones are recorded only from a company's own dated disclosure. A milestone with no date shown is one we can confirm was reached but for which no date was disclosed — we don't estimate one. "Not yet reached" means exactly that, not that a date is missing. An "Expected" line likewise only ever reflects the company's own guidance (e.g. a study or permit decision targeted for a stated quarter) — most not-yet-reached milestones have none, and that absence means no such guidance has been disclosed, not that one is overdue.

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

We checked properly and found no informed capital taking a position. Avino has more than a hundred institutional filers and 30% institutional ownership, but the largest names are ETF issuers, index managers, quantitative trading firms and banks -- Mirae, Van Eck, DZ Bank, Arrowstreet, Jane Street, Man Group, UBS, Bank of America, Tidal, SG Americas. Not one resolves to a dedicated resource fund with a disclosed position, no producer or strategic investor holds a stake, and there are no insider transactions on record. A 1 here means checked-and-nothing-found, not that anything is wrong with the company.

Technical Report Takeaways

Oxide Tailings Project (Avino Mine Operations, Durango, Mexico) -- a satellite tailings-reprocessing project distinct from Avino's main underground Avino Mine + La Preciosa operations, which drive the 127 Moz AgEq M&I / 127 Moz AgEq P&P Reserve figures already on file (16 Apr 2026 'inaugural consolidated' resource/reserve update, no quantified NPV/IRR/mine-life-in-years of its own -- reserves described only as 'decades of mine life at current mill throughput levels'). The Oxide Tailings PFS (NI 43-101, Tetra Tech Canada Inc., announced 5 Feb 2024) is the ONLY quantified economic study found across Avino's asset base this pass: pre-tax NPV5%=US$98M, post-tax NPV5%=US$61M (written to dcfNpvUsd); pre-tax IRR=35%, post-tax IRR=26% (written to irrPct); 9-year project life (P&P reserve of 6.7 Mt at 54.46 g/t Ag/0.47 g/t Au, 2,250 tpd, written to mineLifeYears); initial capex US$49.1M; Ag/Au recoveries 77.2%/74.9%. Company-level dcfNpvUsd/irrPct/mineLifeYears are therefore Oxide-Tailings-only, NOT the consolidated Avino Mine + La Preciosa operation -- flagged, not decided as a permanent convention (same judgment-call shape as the TGB Florence-vs-Gibraltar precedent from wave 6).
