A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Smart money
4/10

We confirmed this TSX-listed uranium company (Norasa project, Namibia) was recently renamed from Forsys Metals Corp. to Asarian Energy Limited in August 2026 (consistent with this session's own separate housekeeping fix, commit a639aad -- independently reconfirmed here, not a new finding). Three real institutional holders are on file, together accounting for over half the company: Leo Fund Managers Limited holds 28.5%, MM Asset Management Inc. holds 15.8%, and ALPS Advisors, Inc. holds 9.81% -- all disclosed in the same 2026 ownership filing. Leo Fund Managers reads as a generalist asset manager rather than a dedicated resource specialist, and ALPS Advisors is an ETF-adjacent registered adviser, so neither is a conviction resource bet, but a combined 54% institutional register is real corroboration. Found one small director share acquisition in March 2025; no producer or strategic corporate backer is disclosed.

Technical Report Takeaways

Norasa Uranium Project (Valencia + Namibplaas deposits, Namibia), Forsys Metals' flagship, FEASIBILITY stage. Feasibility Study released 18 Mar 2015 at a base-case uranium price of US$65/lb U3O8: post-tax NPV8% = US$383.4M, post-tax IRR = 26% (pre-tax NPV8% = US$622.6M, pre-tax IRR = 32% -- not used, repo convention is after-tax headline). 15-year mine life, ~5.2 Mlb/yr average annual U3O8 production, capital cost US$433M. This is an OLD (2015-vintage) study -- checked explicitly for a supersession: Forsys launched a broad reassessment of the 2015 FS in Dec 2023 (pit-parameter optimisation, heap-leach evaluation, 4,100m drill program) and filed an updated NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate 13 May 2024, but as of this pass no new economic study (revised NPV/IRR/mine-life) has been published -- the company's own project page (forsysmetals.com/norasa/, checked this pass) still cites these same 2015 FS figures (IRR 32% pre-tax, NPV pre-tax US$622.6M) as current, confirming the 2015 study remains the only published economics. Recheck once the post-optimisation economic study (heap-leach case) is released. ouncesFound left null: uranium resources reported in lbs U3O8 (151.9 Mt at 136ppm eU3O8 for the combined deposits per the May 2024 MRE, containing 45.4 Mlb U3O8 at Valencia Main alone), never troy ounces -- same settled operational convention as batch 1's AEE/AEU (Task #324, open at the schema-design level, docs/GOLD-DATA-OPERATIONS-PLAYBOOK.md Section 9 Step 0). [Task #529 update, Aug 2026]: ouncesFound now written as 45,400,000 lb U3O8 -- the Valencia Main deposit's Measured+Indicated resource (151.9 Mt at 136ppm eU3O8 for 45.4 Mlb, already referenced above), per Forsys's own 14 May 2024 updated MRE. Namibplaas (218.7 Mt at 85ppm for 41.1 Mlb) is entirely Inferred and excluded per Measured+Indicated-only convention -- NOT blended into this figure despite being part of the same Norasa project.
