GoldCajueiro Project, Alta Floresta-Juruena Gold Belt Map

Altamira Gold is a Vancouver-based junior advancing its 100%-owned, 17,145 ha Cajueiro gold district in Brazil's Alta Floresta-Juruena belt, containing the Cajueiro Central and Maria Bonita deposits. 2026 drilling has both infilled the existing Cajueiro Central resource and extended mineralization at Maria Bonita (including a 70.6m @ 0.5 g/t porphyry intercept in May 2026), with management guiding toward a resource update as the next catalyst. The company also holds the Santa Helena and Apiacás properties and is debt-free with a multi-year cash runway at current burn rates.

Unlikely bolt-onFits the takeout profile

A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal the underlying research identifies — whether a major already holds a JV, earn-in, or 5–19.9% strategic stake — isn't tracked yet and is absent from this score.

Insiders, Investors & Smart Money

Notable shareholders and insiders whose involvement is worth knowing about, plus what we're seeing from institutional/large-investor activity.

Smart money
7/10

The two largest shareholders here are both informed money and both put fresh cash in. Aura Minerals — an operating gold and copper producer with mines in Brazil, Honduras and Mexico — subscribed 6,000,000 shares at C$0.10 in the July 2025 placement, and Crescat Capital, a resource-specialist manager whose technical work is led by exploration geologist Quinton Hennigh, placed the lead order in that same financing. Altamira's own closing release discloses that three related parties each holding more than 10% took 41,000,000 of the 52,850,000 units — 78% of the raise. Crescat partner Tavi Costa joined the board in April 2026. The gap is recent insider buying: the last director purchases are from 2024 and were outweighed by that same director's selling earlier in the same year.
