(TSXV: AFM) is the world's highest-grade primary tin producer, operating the Bisie tin mine in North Kivu, DRC through two deposits: Mpama North (in production since 2019, ~4.5% Sn grade, roughly 4x the grade of most other operating tin mines globally) and Mpama South (the world's second-highest-grade tin resource at ~2% Sn, in production following a 2022 development decision). Combined output reached approximately 20,000 tonnes of contained tin per year following a 2024 production expansion (up from 12,500 t/yr).

Milestones are recorded only from a company's own dated disclosure. A milestone with no date shown is one we can confirm was reached but for which no date was disclosed — we don't estimate one. "Not yet reached" means exactly that, not that a date is missing. An "Expected" line likewise only ever reflects the company's own guidance (e.g. a study or permit decision targeted for a stated quarter) — most not-yet-reached milestones have none, and that absence means no such guidance has been disclosed, not that one is overdue.
Not in place: grid power.
Jurisdiction (40%)3/10
Bisie sits in Walikale territory, North Kivu, DRC -- an active regional conflict zone with a well-documented history of armed-group activity in the wider province. Alphamin has operated successfully at Bisie for years with its own dedicated airstrip and closed-loop logistics specifically designed to route around the conflict-affected road network, and the mine has continued producing/shipping through periods of nearby instability.
Infrastructure (40%)7.1/10
A confirmed mill, confirmed road access, no confirmed grid power, and a confirmed tailings facility at Bisie Tin Project (Mpama North + Mpama South), North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Nearby producing mine (20%)Not yet researched
No producing mine within 50 km in our reference list (nearest listed: Kibali (Barrick Mining Corporation), 505 km). That list doesn't cover every mining district yet, so a longer distance isn't scored as remote.
Acquisition Susceptibility
A relative ranking of how closely this company matches the profile of juniors that have actually been acquired — not a probability, and not a reason to buy. Acquisitions are rare: only a few dozen significant deals happen a year across a universe of thousands of juniors, so even a high score here describes a long shot. The strongest signal in the research, a producer that already owns part of the company, is scored from its disclosed strategic shareholders. A producer that is a joint-venture or earn-in partner on the project, rather than a shareholder, isn't captured yet.

Reports, Presentations & Documents
Alphamin Resources is the world's highest-grade primary tin producer, operating the Bisie tin mine in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, through its 84.1% interest in the operating company; the IDC holds 10.9% and the DRC government 5%. Bisie has two deposits, Mpama North, in production since 2019 at about 4.5% tin, and Mpama South, in production after a 2022 development decision, and a 2024 expansion lifted combined output to about 20,000 t of contained tin a year. Measured and indicated resources contain 235,900 t of tin (900 t measured, 235,100 t indicated) plus 109,900 t inferred, from estimates dated April 2022 for Mpama North and February 2023 for Mpama South that predate the expansion. An updated resource and reserve estimate for both deposits is targeted for Q4 2026. Alphamin runs its own airstrip and logistics chain to manage the security risk of operating in North Kivu.
